transfem chat noir!! drew her again for the ML redesigns i made a while back. im planning on drawing my LB redesign, which ive always had just never got around to posting. i gave her ALOT of tokyo mew mew inspiration becuz adrien was a magical girl girlie frfr, raised on that. the bottom images are verisons i forgot to add details on 💀 but i do like short haired chat noir too!!

transmasc adrien but gabriel insists that he can only transition if he chooses his son's name. because he chose it the first time and because it's meant to be a thing parents lovingly decide for their kids and because he needs control but now his child's not a baby anymore. he's older but more importantly he's a model and he's a Product. when gabriel chooses this name this time he gets to know what he's selling

Fix that looks like Adrien salt and Chloé sugar at first glance only for the fic to slowly reveal that both of them are trans, transitioned before the fic started, and thought it would be hilarious to switch first names, so they’re actually both completely in-character

This might exist already, but I think an au where Marinette and Adrien are both trans would be really interesting. The Miraculous reflects the user, so it stands to reason that it would make them pass a LOT better, maybe even changing things on a biological level (ie voices).

This ties in really well with Adriens story- he only really feels like he can be himself as Chat Noir, and I don’t think Gabriel would be the most accepting of a trans kid (even if he wasn’t transphonic per say, it could ruin his public image).

On the other hand, I think Marinettes parents would be a lot more accepting, and she could realistically be out to pretty much everyone as a trans girl. I think she would still be *extremely* shy, though, around Adrien, and being ladybug would be a huge confidence boost.

Also, just the themes of learning to be your authentic self that are present in the show work really well. I think being Chat would give Adrien the confidence he needs to come out as trans to all his friends (I'd imagine Nino would know from the jump, but he takes a little longer to come out to Alya and Marinette, then eventually his classmates).

Also, Chloe is bi in this au bc I say so. She has a crush on Adrien before and after he comes out.
